Once we uncover how your child learns best, we design a fun and targeted experiential program based on their strengths and interests. This holistic, child-centered approach has proven far more effective than standardized curriculum and rote memorization.
Our 40-hour Success by Third Grade® program achieves such strong results by providing personal support and team work between students, parents, and teachers.
Learning problems and diagnoses such as dyslexia, anxiety, ADHD, and executive functioning disorder can destroy your child’s confidence. Working with 3D Learner can transform these struggles into successes.
Success by Third Grade® starts with the 3D Learner comprehensive assessment
Designed to help understand the whole child, not just a specific learning issue, we use observation and testing to create a custom-tailored education plan for your child.
Our assessment includes The Structure of Intellect Assessment® specifically designed for K to 3 and the Woodcock-Johnson® reading comprehension assessment.
This will identify:
- Your child’s learning style, strengths, and challenges
- Visual tracking issues – a common, often overlooked problem
- Attention issues using the Interactive Metronome® process
- Your child’s current level of reading comprehension
- Insights that will explain challenges with sequencing, pattern recognition, and evaluation
This multifaceted assessment gives us the insights we need to help a child reach their full potential.
Designed to Help Students, Teachers, and Parents
The 3D Success by 3rd Grade® program provides 40 hours of proven, professional support for you, your child, and their school.
STUDENT – 30 hours of 1:1 experiential learning designed specifically around your child’s interests and strengths and led by a qualified teacher with skills and styles that match with your child
PARENTS – 7 hours of coaching and support including a thorough 1-hour debrief of the 3D Learner Assessment, 2 hours for training and goal setting, 3 hours of ongoing coaching and support
PARENTS AND TEACHERS – 3 hours for school observation, support for teachers, and advocacy assistance
Being at grade level is meaningful at any age, but third grade is the crucial year when students make the leap from learning to read to reading to learn. It’s an academic hurdle that, if missed, can leave kids in the proverbial dust.
