About the 3D Learner Foundation
Helping Smart, Gifted, and Neurodivergent Learners Succeed in Elementary School and Beyond
The 3D Learner Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to helping parents help their smart, very smart, and gifted child achieve elementary school success—especially for children who learn differently – we call these kids neurodivergent learners
Our mission is built on one simple truth:
When parents of neurodivergent learners are informed, empowered, and proactive, they can make the difference that transforms their child’s life. We call our approach
Transformational Strength-based Parenting
for Neurodivergent Learners
Our Story
Like many parents, we started as a family searching for answers.
Our children were bright—curious, creative, and full of potential—but traditional schools focused only on what they couldn’t do. The system labeled them with terms like dyslexia, ADHD, or learning disabilities, but it never asked the most important question:
“How does this child learn best?”
Over the past 30 years, we’ve helped thousands of families discover that the key to success is not fixing what’s “wrong,” but identifying their strengths—and building from there.
The 3D Learner Foundation was created to share that message with parents everywhere and to provide the tools, resources, and community they need to help their child thrive.
Our Mission
To help parents become Transformational Strength-Based Parents who are equipped, confident, and empowered to help their elementary school child succeed academically, socially, and emotionally
Instead of limiting expectations, we inspire parents and schools to see what’s possible when a child’s strengths and potential are the starting point. We put the neurodivergent learners’ strengths and recognize the common challenges — executive function issues, auditory and visual processing issues and dyslexia.

How Our Approach Differs
While most programs focus on what’s wrong with a child, we focus on what’s strong.
The 3D Learner Foundation stands apart in seven key ways:
- We focus on strengths first.
We help parents and educators identify a child’s right-brain, visual-spatial, and experiential learning strengths. - We assess for success, not just for disabilities.
We believe in identifying both strengths and challenges, and using that insight to create effective learning plans. - We empower parents to lead.
Our programs equip parents to be the coach, advocate, and catalyst their child needs to succeed. - We integrate proven, research-based tools.
We align neuroscience, executive function training, and emotional growth practices into one coordinated approach. - We emphasize early intervention—by third grade or sooner.
Because catching up early can change a child’s academic and emotional trajectory for life. - We develop the whole child.
Our focus extends beyond academics to confidence, creativity, and self-esteem—helping kids thrive in school, sports, and life.
We build community.
We connect parents, educators, and professionals who share our mission: ensuring every child who learns differently has the opportunity to succeed.
