Close The Reading Gap With an Integrated, Engaging and Effective Approach
We have had the pleasure of helping thousands of smart struggling students to close the reading gap. We have done this for students in K to 12 and beyond. Three things that differentiate what we do:
1- Our mindset is to help your child succeed in months not years
2- Our assessment process is designed to identify how your child learns best, where your child is strong and where he or she struggles. We also get a baseline for your child’s reading comprehension
3- Our process is integrated, engaging and effective

It requires a far different approach:
1- First one must identify how the student learns best
2- One must identify the challenges that are holding your child back. Visual processing, working memory and anxiety challenges are three of the most common challenges the visual learner has.
3- One must then assess what is the child’s reading comprehension and reading fluency. Too often fluency, how well a student reads out loud, is used to measure reading. We believe it is critical to measure both
4- It really helps to set BOLD Goals – our goals tend to be more aggressive than others, because we know it is possible
5- Partnering with the right professional is critical. We have the experience at doing this and we use tools like Reading Plus (R) to really make the difference
