We have helped hundreds of twice-exceptional students and seen three common themes:
– Twice-exceptional students often learn differently — they learn best when he or she sees and experiences information
– These students often have attention, eye-teaming and frustration challenges
– Twice-exceptional students who learn best when he or she sees and experiences information and have attention, eye-teaming and related issues can often do far better when they are taught to their strengths and interests, and their challenges are identified and addressed.
We have labeled these students as GOLD Students (TM) — Gifted Operating with a Learning Difference.
