Dyslexia Symptoms and a Dyslexia Test will often focus on what is wrong with your child

We have taken a very different view - with a list Dyslexia Symptoms for Right-Brained Learners and creating Right-Brained Assessments for children with Dyslexia.

We focus on the right-brained learner,  Right-Brained Assessments and right-brained programs versus traditional dyslexia symptoms, dyslexia tests and dyslexia programs for the following five reasons:

1-  Most children with dyslexia are right-brained learners who learn best when they see and experience information -- they will do far better if they are taught to their strengths

2-  Most children with dyslexia have visual perception issues (skipping words and lines when reading, difficulty copying, or reversals) and it is equally critical to identify and address these issues

3-  Many children with dyslexia have attention challenges -- whether they have ADHD or not -- ADHD solutions like the Interactive Metronome (R) and Brain Gym (R) offer excellent options

4-  For children with dyslexia traditional psychological tests and traditional phonics-based programs may frustrate the right-brained learner and the parents -- they often ignore or do not address the problems with sight word vocabulary (e.g. words like but, what, if, why and how), pattern recognition (recognizing words they have previously learned), and the visual perception issues, which are not the same as dyslexia, but need to be identified and addressed

5- Right-brained assessments and right-brained programs are excellent options to Beat Dyslexia for thei right-brained learner

We offer right-brained assessments and right-brained programs

There's an iphone/ipod touch app that is perfect for kids with this problem... ispellbetter. It helps with applying the capacity to hold and retrieve images to learning how to spell.
