ADHD Controversies
The MTA Study was cited for years as proof that ADHD medication was a critical part of the answer -- but the results 8 years out are not that conclusive.
Physicians and schools will either outwardly or quietly suggest ADHD medication and the parents often want another solution.
Some physicians tend not to share techniques like the Interactive Metronome (R) or Brain Gym (R) -- which we have found to be quite effective -- but many do not.
We find that an Interactive Attention Measurement and Brain Activities will reduce the need for ADHD medication and in a number of cases, the severity of the problem is reduced, so that a reduced dosage can be used. The combination of the Interactive Metronome (R), Brain Gym (R) and ADHD Medications may be the answer.
