We are Mira and Mark Halpert.
We have served as PTA Presidents, School Improvement Chairperson, and School Advisory Council Chairperson.
Mira has a Masters Degree in Education, and in 1995 developed what has become know as the 3D Learner Program (R), designed to help smart struggling students succeed. Mira is known as the Success- Mom.
Mark is a professional speaker and is a Recovering Screamaholic (R), and he often includes his signature vignette on this subject.
We have four kids, two were in the Gifted Program and two with Learning Disabilities.
For Mira, managing a household with four kids and a full time business, required her to master the art of homework and organizational challenges.
We have addressed a number of PTAs, and National and International Conferences with a focus on Making the Difference for Students, Parents and Teachers.
We have developed four presentations that can be delivered at your school, and can be tailored to yur needs:
1- How to Reduce Homework Time and Stress
2- Small Changes Make Big Differences. How you can use a visual planner, simple Brain Gym (R) exercises and constructive communications to develop even more effective parent - child and parent - teacher effectiveness.
3- How Parents Can Improve FCAT Scores. Many parents have issues with these tests, but reality is, we all want to give our child tools they can use to improve FCAT scores. We will share tools that parents can use, and tools your child can use before and during the test. One teenager said:
"I froze during the 10th grade FCAT, and then did what Mira suggested, and got a 5 on the test", M. Simpson.
A 3rd grader said, "I was so nervous; then I did the breathing exercises I learned and passed with flying colors", R. Randolph.
4- An FCAT In-Service for Teachers -- that could be PTA sponsored. One veteran 3rd grade teacher said,
"After Mark and Mira's training, I was able to help every student with better instruction, being more responsive to their questions and providing tools they could use", M. Webster.
We encouarge you to call us at 561-361-7495 and find out how you can make the difference for your children, parents and teachers, with our Make The Difference Presentations.
