Are You a Frustrated Parent Trying to Help An ADHD Child?
- Does homework take too long with incredible stress?
- Do simple instructions like "Please clean up your room, almost always end in a battle?
- Would you like to know how you can change your child's life and yours within a few months?
I am Mira Halpert. I have a Master"s Degree in Education, and for the last 15 years have been helping parents to reduce the stress and to help their children to be much more successful. With my husband Mark and son Michael we will be presenting at the North Broward CHADD Meeting on November 15th at 7 pm at the Coral Springs Medical Center -- feel free to bring your friends.
This meeting could change your child's life and yours
This presentation will be different than most, because it will provide new information, it will empower you and it will help you to be proactive in:
- Working even more effectively with your child's school
- Being able to get homework done with better quality work, in less time and with much less stress
- Seeking options -- we respect ADHD Medication, and we will show you three excellent tools that can help the ADHD child to improve attention, self-control, reading and math fluency, and their sports and music skills. We offer excellent options to reduce the reliance on ADHD medication, and for those parents wishing to pursue alternatives to ADHD Medication.
- Recognizing that ADHD students often have co-existing challenges that might include:
- Learning differences --like Edison, Einstein and Disney, many students with ADHD are very bright, very creative and they struggle with attention, too.
- Tracking, reversals and other vision related challenges are often present in the ADHD child.
- Frustration and/or anxiety. Who wouldn't be frustated or anxious if you were smart, creative and unable to pay attention, especially to that which is boring
Our expertise is based on:
- 31 years of raising ADHD children
- Mark,who himself is ADHD
- Over 1000 students we have helped who are ADHD and who have benefitted from our natural and effective methods
- A passion for finding effective ways to help parents and students
- A presentation style that is engaging, entertaining and leaves you with tools you can use.
We will also be demonstrating various tools including:
- The Interactive Metronome (R) a great tool for improving attention, self-control and sports skills
- Brain Gym Exercises (R) that improve attention and goal achievement
- Biofeedback that teaches students how to be calmer and more resilient
This presentation will help parents with students from 5 to 30. It will help them in school, at home and with athletics. We have helped pre-K students, elementary school students, middle and high school students, college students and young adults
We have also helped student athletes to earn sports scholarships for baseball, golf, swimming, and football.
