As parents, we like getting report cards that show our child is doing as well as expected, and love to be surprised by when a report card is better than we expected.
Unfortunately, February report cards are often an eye opener because:
- The last report card was based primarily on a review of last years work.
- The December - January period is when the work gets harder - and learning issues often surface.
- Teachers need to provide feedback if there is an issue -- in order to make sure you are alerted to the problems -- and not caught by surprise at year-end.
What's worse is that homework that has always taken too long, may now be taking even longer, and the stress builds every day.
The good news includes:
- There is still plenty of time left before the end of the school year to improve performance.
- There is precious little time to respond before the FCAT and other standardized tests.
- 3D Learner is here to help.
We can offer assessments, training and parent briefings on how to:
- Assess for success, get to the root cause of the issues, and provide you with tools you can use.
- Reduce homework time and stress with Homework Help
- Improve reading comprehension, math skills and standardized test scores
We are now offering:
- A Free Phone Consult
- A Free Parent Briefing - Tuesday March 24th
- A very cost effective assessment process that focuses on:
- How your child learns best
- Where they are strong and where they struggle
- Are there underlying visual or auditory processing challenges?
We are now offering program options that recognize we are in tough times -- where the needs are great and funding is more difficult than ever.
